“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, & doing new things…”

“...  Because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

Those words are by none other than creative titan Walt Disney, and they shine a light on an important lesson for us today.

When you’re writing, you’re always in the process of trying new things. Sit back for a moment and think about this one: whether it’s an essay you’re working on or a poem you’re just starting, the idea remains the same. Every time you write, you’re putting together a set of words that are totally unique. By expressing a new idea or outlining a new argument, you’re bringing into the world a fresh, original perspective. Those words have never been put in exactly that order!

It’s a strange thought, but it’s totally true. With every paragraph, stanza, or page, we bring to life an entirely new world of possibilities.

And you may have noticed that recently, we’ve taken a new format on here at WWD. Short, compact, and designed to give you insight… it’s our venture into a new format.

Because if there’s one thing our team loves… it’s discovering where those new paths will take us.

When you’re writing, you’re always in the process of trying new things.
